I'm Claire
I live in the North East of Scotland with my husband, two girls and one slightly daft Labrador, Monty - the unwitting star of the show! My sports coaching background helps me wrangle this unruly mob. I adore working with kids, taking inspiration from their energy, creativity and brutal honesty. Recently, I completed an HND in Design and Innovation through the Open University and love all things creative. Although born and bred in Aberdeenshire, I have strong family ties to Caithness and the Shetland island and was lucky enough to spend a couple of years in France attempting (and failing spectacularly) to speak French. All of these places have inspired settings in my books. I'm currently working on the next book in the Monty series, and trying to figure out Instagram!
